TESTAMENT: NEW SONG STREAM + NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

2012-06-28 00:00 - Bay Area thrash metal legends TESTAMENT have launched a stream of the new track, “True American Hate,” via the Dark Roots Of Earth Landing Page at http://bit.ly/tdroelp.

“True American Hate” is the first track to surface from the band’s highly-anticipated follow-up to 2008’s The Formation Of Damnation. Dark Roots Of Earth is due out on July 31st in North America; pre-order bundles are available on the Nuclear Blast USA Webshop at http://store.nuclearblastusa.com/Artist/Testament/10177.

Dark Roots Of Earth was produced, mixed and mastered by acclaimed British producer Andy Sneap (Arch Enemy, Nevermore, Accept, Exodus). Eliran Kantor (Atheist, Sigh, Anacrusis, Gwar) provided the cover artwork. Special bonus tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered by Juan Urteaga (Machine Head,Exodus, Ted Nugent, Night Ranger) at Trident Studios.

Last weekend, TESTAMENT wrapped up filming a music video for “Native Blood” with director Mike Sloat (Machine Head, American Head Charge). The song, whose lyrics are about vocalist Chuck Billy’s Native American heritage, was filmed at the Hopland Indian Reservation in Hopland, California.
