ENSLAVED ALBUM TEASER NOW ONLINE

2012-08-20 00:00 - An album teaser (featuring Ivar Bjørnson on keyboards) for ENSLAVED’s twelfth studio album, RIITIIR, is now available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjgqDQsEHI4. RIITIIR is due out in Europe on September 28th and in North America on October 9th.

RIITIIR was recorded in Bergen, Norway at Duper Studios, Earshot Studios, Solslottet Studios, and Peersonal Sound. It was mixed by Jens Bogren and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden. The team of producers includes Ivar Bjørnson, Grutle Kjellson, Herbrand Larsen, and Iver Sandøy.

ENSLAVED’s RIITIIR is the follow-up to Axioma Ethica Odini, which debuted in North America at #16 on the Billboard Heatseekers (New Artists) chart. Axioma Ethica Odini also won the 2010 Spellemann Award (the Norwegian equivalent of a U.S. Grammy Award) in the category “Best Metal Album,” won Terrorizer Magazine’s Reader’s Poll for “Best Album of 2010,” ranked #5 in Decibel Magazine’s “Top 40 Extreme Albums of 2010” list, and appeared on over 65 “Best Albums of 2010” lists in North America, repeatedly ranking in the Top 10. In Germany, Metal Hammer Magazine awarded ENSLAVED the “Album Of The Year” title; Dutch magazine Aardschok ranked Axioma Ethica Odini at #9.

ENSLAVED will be performing in this year’s Barge To Hell cruise from Miami to the Caribbean beginning on December 3rd.
