National Public Radio’s Fall Music Preview has premiered “The Suits, The Law & The Uniforms,” a new song off GRAVEYARD’s third studio album, Lights Out, which is available for streaming now at this location: http://www.npr.org/2012/09/19/161004028/fall-music-preview “Love the grooves, the riffs… well produced… they’ve got it goin’ on,” said the show’s hosts Robin Hilton and Bob Boilen. Eavesdrop on the fall preview discussion here. In case you missed it, Billboard.com exclusively premiered the first GRAVEYARD track, “Goliath.” Writer David Greenwald said the track is “full of the frantic solos and pummeling performances,” and GRAVEYARD drummer Axel Sjöberg explains why: “This song is about feeling like everyday life is a constant David vs. Goliath scene. You look around, get pissed off, and want to 'stick it to the man.’" “On Lights Out, we've broadened our musical spectrum, especially in the case of Joakim [Nilsson]'s vocals,” adds Sjöberg. “You can hear him go from crazy, vindictive preacher to subtle and thoughtful lover seamlessly." November 6th is when Lights Out drops in North America, and a few Hisingen Brews will be in order to celebrate. GRAVEYARD’s 2011 release, Hisingen Blues, debuted at #48 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and entered the Swedish album chart at No. 1. The band’s first headlining U.S. tour earlier this year resulted in multiple sold-out shows across the country. A return to American shores in 2013 for a repeat performance is expected.
