Not long ago, in a Scandinavian country not far away, MESHUGGAH drummer Tomas Haake received a call from Nuclear Blast HQ in Germany asking for his assistance in promoting the band’s upcoming live DVD / Blu-Ray + 2-CD release, The Ophidian Trek, due out in North America on September 30th.

The Ophidian Trek is MESHUGGAH’s second live DVD and showcases footage shot in the U.S. & Europe during The Ophidian Trek tour, including Germany’s Wacken Open Air festival in 2013. The live audio was processed & edited by MESHUGGAH guitarist Fredrik Thordendal, mixed by Daniel Begstrand (MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, BEHEMOTH), and mastered by Mats “Limpan” Lindfors (ROXETTE, OPETH, MANDO DIAO).
