Last night, Hollywood experienced SABATON’s CD Release Party for Carolus Rex at The Key Club. The venue was packed from wall-to-wall with fans chanting “SA-BA-TON! SA-BA-TON!” in unison as the band delivered a stellar, high-energy, crowd-pleasing show. In his pre-show interview with The Gauntlet, SABATON frontman Joakim Brodén discussed tour pranks involving Guitar Hero guitars, the inspiration behind recording Carolus Rex both in English and Swedish, “beer auditioning” their new members, and sets the record straight about porn & their live show.
