PREDATORY LIGHT - Death and the twilight hours - CD-Digi

The present second album by Predatory Light consists of four massive, musical labyrinths of infernal technology, old evil and eerie church nightmare, offering Black Metal in a southern European and South American style. These four hymns conceptually meditate on the triumph of death in times of plague, focusing on the psychological terror and rapture of mankind's impending doom. Predatory Light explores imagery from Boccaccio's account of the plague in his hometown of Florence, draws inspiration from Lucretius' accounts of the Athenian plague, and explores the historical mindset of human sin and torment - to evoke the archetypal personification of death that binds human consciousness to the realm of earthly suffering.
