Description
Es ist das Nachfolge-Album zum legendären "The dark side of the moon". Die Aufnahmen der insgesamt fünf Songs fanden zwischen Januar und Juli 1975 in den legendären Londoner Abbey Road Studios statt. In den Songs "Have a cigar" und "Welcome to the machine" rechnete die Band mit der Musikindustrie ab, während die Stücke "Wish you were here" und "Shine on you crazy diamond" eine Hommage an ihr früheres Bandmitglied Syd Barrett sind. Auch dieser musikalische Meilenstein ist nun wieder auf schwarzem 180g Vinyl erhältlich.
