Helsinki's most famous vampires, THE 69 EYES, recently proudly announced the release of their new, 12th studio album, called »Universal Monsters«. It will be released on April 22nd via Nuclear Blast.
To bridge the gap until the album is unleashed, the band have launched the second making-of trailer today. Watch it here:
"I was walking in the downtown of Austin during the last SXSW festival and ran into this strange castle looking horror shop Sfanthor which had also a house of wax kind of movie monster exhibition. The classic 30's and 40's movie monsters are something that you love to be afraid of and…love. I thought that would be perfect way to portray THE 69 EYES as a band of monsters,” explains singer Jyrki 69 of the title of the album.
