ABOUT EXODUS:

Bay Area thrashers EXODUS define & epitomize the genre and continually raise the bar and have it on lockdown. One of the true forefathers of thrash metal, EXODUS touts an illustrious career spanning 34 years. Their 1984 breakout debut, Bonded By Blood, is a thrash metal must-have album featuring blood-spilling crunching live standards such as the title track, "Strike Of The Beast," and "A Lesson In Violence." Formed in 1980, the band’s original members included Kirk Hammett & Tim Agnello on guitars, Tom Hunting on drums, and Carlton Melson on bass. The line-up continued to evolved throughout the years before settling on the current incarnation (which has remained unchanged since 2007) of Gary Holt & Lee Altus on guitars, Tom Hunting on drums, Jack Gibson on bass, and Rob Dukes on vocals. To date, EXODUS has released ten studio albums, two live albums, and one compilation. Their most recent release, 2010's Exhibit B: The Human Condition, debuted at #114 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.

With over five million albums sold worldwide, EXODUS will be entering the studio this February to record their new album, set for tentative release later this year.
