More from Finland: Korpiklaani are releasing their twelfth album, Rankarumpu, on 5 April 2024! Three singles from the record have been released so far: "Saunaan", "Aita" and "Oraakkelit" - you can listen to one of them right here. The band's aim with the production was to bring more tempo into the songs, which is why the songs are shorter compared to previous records. However, the sound is classic Korpiklaani, as they were heard in their early years. There is also an anti-war message - but the mood is still as cheerful as ever, especially on songs like "Saunaan".
My Dying Bride - A Mortal Binding
Since their start in 1990, My Dying Bride can look back on a well-filled discography, which will be expanded on 19 April 2024 with the album A Mortal Binding. In advance, they have already presented the songs "Thornwyck Hymn" and "The 2nd of Three Bells", which live up to their name as a doom metal band. With sluggish, gloomy riffs and vocal passages through to characteristic growls; the singles show a clear path for the album.
Accept - Humanoid
The German heavy metal group Accept has been in the business since the 80s and never stops climbing up the album charts. So we can be curious to see what position Humanoid will make it to when the album is released on 26 April 2024! The title track and the song "The Reckoning" offer a first impression.
