San Francisco-based doom/heavy rock superstars ORCHID have released their early works encompassing album, »The Zodiac Sessions«, today.
»The Zodiac Sessions« includes the »Through The Devil's Doorway« EP and the debut album »Capricorn«, both remastered and put on one CD in a lavish digipak featuring an all new cover art, created by the band's gifted singer, Theo Mindell. On vinyl both parts of »The Zodiac Sessions« are being released separately – on 10“ (»Through The Devil's Doorway«) and on 2LP 12“ (»Capricorn«) and are made available in various colors.
Both releases were the direct predecessors for this year's euphorically received full-length »The Mouths Of Madness« which made it to #18 of the German media control charts in its first week of sale.

The band also concludes their currently running, extremely successful European tour with label buddies BLUES PILLS and SCORPION CHILD today at Hammer Of Doom festival in Würzburg. ORCHIDs last gig on European soil in 2013 will be at tomorrow's Metal Hammer Paradise Festival near Lübeck.
