From August 13 to 16, 2025, the town of Dinkelsbühl will once again turn into a metal hotspot for fans from all across Europe. This 26th edition of Summer Breeze promises a killer lineup, that signature festival atmosphere – and a few updates, like a fully cashless payment system across the grounds.

Bands you don’t want to miss

Whether it’s major headliners or underground gems, the 2025 lineup is a great mix of scene legends and fresh discoveries.
Here are some acts you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on:

  • Machine Head – Pure live power. Robb Flynn and the crew deliver every time: heavy, intense, and no-nonsense.
  • Blind Guardian – Epic power metal with depth. Songs like “Mirror Mirror” and “The Bard’s Song” never fail to hit hard.
  • Dimmu Borgir – Dark, grand, and gripping. The Norwegian legends bring their signature black metal aesthetic to the stage.
  • Tarja & Marko Hietala – A powerhouse duo that will have Nightwish fans buzzing. Big voices, big melodies.
  • Beast In Black – 80s-inspired power metal with a modern twist. Fast-paced riffs and catchy choruses.
  • The Halo Effect – Melodic death metal with an old-school touch. Former In Flames members revive the classic Gothenburg sound.
  • Septicflesh – Symphonic death metal from Greece – brutal, atmospheric, and massive.
  • Lost Society – High-energy modern thrash straight out of Finland. Expect full-on chaos in the pit.

The full lineup is available on the official festival poster or at summer-breeze.de.
