New Jersey’s progressive metal juggernauts SYMPHONY X have teamed up with local thrash metal heroes OVERKILL for a special co-headlining show at Terminal 5 in New York City on October 17th, 2015.
This marks the first time in their combined 50+ year careers that both bands have played a show together in their own backyard. Will SYMPHONY X or OVERKILL do a band member swap during their co-headlining sets? The only way to know is to be there! As reported late last year, recording of the band’s ninth as-yet-untitled studio album & follow-up to 2011’s Billboard-charting Iconoclast - is complete.
SYMPHONY X’s innovative mixture of heavy metal and progressive rock has made them a favored staple among prog metal fans for almost 20 years. Iconoclast debuted at #76 on the American Billboard Top 200 chart and at #105 on the Canadian Soundscan Top 200 chart.
