There is a new update regarding the future of Ozzfest: The festival's return next year is finally officially confirmed. Ozzfest 2027 is set to take place at Aston Villa FC’s Villa Park in Birmingham, England. As the setting of the legendary Black Sabbath farewell concert “Back To The Beginning”, the location already brings a huge nostalgia factor, serving as a reminder of Ozzy Osbourne's last major performance in his hometown.
A date for the comeback has not yet been announced, and the line-up has also not been revealed yet. However, further updates could come not only through Ozzfest's official channels but also via Sharon Osbourne, who has repeatedly commented on future plans for the festival in recent months. Among other things, this involved booking the stage slots, which she discussed with her son Jack Osbourne:
"We want to hear from everyone where we should go in America. We’ve got to find a lot of young, new talent, because that’s what your dad would want."
